What information I collect

If you use the contact form on this site, I collect the name, email address, phone number (if you provide one) and message you submit, in order to reply to your enquiry. This is processed by Netlify, who host the form submission on my behalf.

If you accept analytics cookies via the banner on this site, Google Analytics collects anonymised information about how you use the site — pages visited, general location, and device type — to help me understand and improve it. This only happens after you give consent; see the Cookie Policy for details.

Why I process this information

Contact form data is processed to respond to your enquiry (legitimate interest / pre-contractual steps). Analytics data is processed only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by clearing your browser's local storage or contacting me directly.

How long I keep it

Contact form enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting instruction, and no longer than legally required for professional record-keeping.

Who else sees it

Contact form submissions pass through Netlify (site hosting) and, where applicable, Google Analytics (anonymised usage data) and Sanity (content management for this site). These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area under their own standard safeguards.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and Spain's LOPDGDD, you have the right to access, rectify, or request deletion of your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email me at hello@paulainspain.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD).
